Unlike traditional
manga or
Western color comics, 3D comics are not drawn with pencil or ink, but are modeled in special programs (for example, Daz3D, Blender, Poser). The artist creates digital characters, environments and scenes, and then renders the images, which are combined into a comic with dialogue and narration. This format is popular in the 18+ industry because it allows you to quickly create realistic or fantastic scenes, play with style (from almost “lifelike” models to cartoon stylization) and use the same characters in different stories.
